Growing up in rural Indiana, Chuck's childhood was very much like most future Nobel Prize winners. After two years at Ball State, he decided to join the United States Air Force, where he had no idea what would await him. According to Chuck's test scores, he qualified for either a meatcutter or broadcaster. That’s a true story. Chuck says if he wasn't in radio, "I'd be looking for a job.
Chuck's military career was very much like the movie “Good Morning, Vietnam” except no police actions. But, it got him into the radio business nonetheless. He moved to Colorado in the early 90’s where he fell in love with this beautiful state and a beautiful girl from Aurora named Rhonda.
Chuck has several favorite foods - he's very ambiguous about them though. The strangest place he's ever been is Thule, Greenland - we'll let you figure out what he was doing THERE! In between raising twin girls, Chuck writes country music while strumming on his guitar. LIttle known facts about Chuck include his impeccable driving abilities and his love of drawing!
