92.5 THE WOLF Best Engagement Story Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. HOW TO ENTER

a. The “Best Engagement Story” contest (the “Contest”) will begin on Monday 12/15/2008 at 12:01am MT and end on 12/30/2008 at 4:00 pm MT (“Contest Period”).

b. To participate in the contest, you must log on to www.925thewolf.com during the Contest Period and fill out an entry form with your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth and the “story of your engagement” in a short paragraph (maximum of 1000 words).  Forms must be completed in their entirety.  Incomplete entries will be ineligible to win.  Only one internet entry per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address.  KWLI is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.  For purposes of these Official Rules, "receipt" of an online entry will be solely determined when the KWLI website server records the entry data.  Any automated computer form reply or receipt (such as one confirming delivery of email) does not constitute actual receipt by KWLI of an online entry for purposes of these Official Rules.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. The contest is open to all legal Colorado residents who are 18 years of age or older living in the Denver Metropolitan area.  Employees of KWLI (the “Station”), its licensee, its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Denver metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and households are ineligible to participate or win.

b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.

c. Winners must possess valid government-issued photo identification, must provide their Social Security Number (or other valid tax ID number) when required, and must sign any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form in order for prize to be awarded.

d. Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent.  The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

3. PRIZES

a. One (1) prize package will be awarded.  The prize package will consist of the following prize components:

• A prize certificate for $500 valid at any Marriott hotel and resort in the world;
• A prize certificate for $500 valid towards any Sean O’Leary Photography package;
• A prize certificate for $1300 Sapphire Celebrations wedding planning package;
• A $50 gift certificate to Canvas on Demand;
• A $50 gift Certificate to Miss Now Mrs.;
• A $100 gift certificate to a restaurant solely selected at the Station’s discretion;
• Two (2) tickets to an advance showing of ‘Bride Wars’, starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway;
• Two (2) tickets to the Rocky Mountain Bridal Show on a time, date and location to be determined solely at the discretion of the Station; and
• Two (2) Front Row tickets to the Fashion Show on a time, date and location to be determined solely at the discretion of the Station.

Approximate Retail Value of prize package is $2,300.

b. Winners will be subject to the terms and conditions of any gift certificate as set forth by the respective issuer, including expiration date.  Where applicable, event related prizes may be subject to availability and shall be determined solely at the discretion of the Station.

c. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below.  Prize package must be picked up at The Rocky Mountain Bridal Show on January 4th, 2009 from 11am to 4pm at the Colorado Convention Center located at 700 14th Street Denver, CO 80202.  If winner cannot pick up the prize on that date at that location, arrangements must be made with the Station in advance and winner will be permitted to pick up prize at the Station offices located at 1560 Broadway suite 1100, Denver, CO 80202 by February 4, 2009 at 4:00pm.

d. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.

b. Representatives of the Station will review all of eligible entries and pick one winner on December 30, 2008 at 4:00pm based on the originality and creativity of the engagement story.  Winner will be selected solely at the discretion of the Station representatives reviewing the entries.

c. Winner does not need to listen or be present to win.

d. Potential winner will be contacted on 12/30/2008 at approximately 4:00pm MT.  Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form by February 4, 2009 at 4:00pm or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected by the Station by selecting the next best entry, as judged by the Station representatives.

5. CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner and his/her guests agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. 

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winner and his/her guests to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

e. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

g. For the names of the prize winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by 03/02/2009 to “Best Engagement Story Contest - Winners, Attn:  Promotions, KWLI 1560 Broadway Suite 1100, Denver, CO 80202.  For Official Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the above address marked “Best Engagement Story Contest - Official Rules” for receipt by 12/30/2008.  The names of Prize Winners and the Official Rules will also be posted at www.925thewolf.com
