What does a 13 year old kid from Brooklyn NY, whose after school job is to sort through saliva drenched, plastic bottle deposit returns in the dark and smelly basement of a grocery store, want to do when he grows up? Be on the radio of course.
It all happened around the time Jay Cruze was mopping the floors of the pet food aisle and he noticed a woman wearing a very spiffy jacket, bearing the logo of a popular New York City radio station. Turns out the lady was the wife of a very well known radio personality on J’s favorite radio station. Mesmerized by the authority the woman possessed by wearing the spiffy radio station jacket, Jay had his epiphany. Either be on the radio, and command that same authority, wearing a spiffy radio station jacket... or sort saliva bottles the rest of your life. The career path he chose is obvious. But, for old times sake, Jay still sorts his plastic bottles at home.
Now the background stuff... Jay is Married, has two girls, 7 and 5, a dog and a cat (both female). He is surrounded by females at home and needs 5 hours a day to get out of the house before he loses it. He is excited to join WOLF country from 2-7 p.m.
